HOW WE OPERATE

If you require our services contact us via email.
You will be contacted with 48 hours. If we should not have acknowledged your e-mail, please give us a call.

We will provide you with a quotation. Once you have accepted the quote we will send you an invoice for payment. Once this is finalized and you are proceeding to use our services you are required to pay a 50% non refundable deposit to secure your date. Should this be less than 7 (seven) days before the function, then 100% payment is required.

Should the 50% have been paid more than 7 (seven) days prior to the function then the balance must be paid not less than 4 (four) days before the function date. Any final changes like guest numbers must be done the Friday, (7 (seven) days) prior to your function date.
Should your final payment not be received by the due date, we reserve the right to not deliver.

During the process of assisting you with your party, we endeavor to give you the very best service and check that that everything is delivered as required, to ensure you have a successful event.

Please note that we do not have a shop. All our orders are handles via email.

Where is Pixie Caterers located and what is the operating hours?
164 Rose street, Riviera, Pretoria
9am - 4pm Monday to Friday - By appointment only

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes! We require a 50% non-refundable deposit on any personalized orders. Please note that your order will not be confirmed to go ahead until we have received the payment into our account, either via Direct Deposit or via EFT.

How long in advance should I place my order?
We recommend you contact us at least 2 weeks in advance. We can usually accommodate most orders, however, the more notice you give us the more likely we will be able to fulfill your order.

Does Pixie caterers deliver?
Yes we do. We charge a fee of R5.00 per km (to destination only).

Do I get discount for bigger orders?
No, unfortunately, buying in bulk does not qualify you for a discount. Everything we produce is hand-made on our premises, and this does not change as your order gets bigger.

Is your phone broken? I can never get hold of you!
No.. Our phone is not broken.. It just rings A LOT! Unfortunately we can't always take your call as most of our day is spent making edible decorations which is a lengthy process that cant always be stopped. If our phone just rings and rings, drop us a mail:-)

Do we have any other branches? Would we be interested in franchising?
Nope, sorry! 164 Rose street in Pretoria is our home. We're a family business and this is where we're staying. Sadly we do not want to franchise as we put so much of ourselves into the business and into our work that it's a crazy combination that cannot really be duplicated.

Do you offer cake decorating classes?
We unfortunately do not offer any decorating or baking courses. Due to the high volume of orders we make on a weekly basis, we sadly do not have the time to do courses at the moment.

Do you have a shop that is open to the public?
Unfortunately we do not, however, we are working on a showroom in the near future. All orders can be placed via email.
